Afrika Bambaataa (d. 17 Nisan 1957; South Bronx, New York), Amerikalı DJ. 1980'lerde hip hop müziğinin gelişiminde rol almıştır. Afrika Bambaataa, break-beat DJ'liğin mucitlerinden biridir ve Evrensel Hip Hop Kültürünün ve Elektro Funk Soundunun "babası" sayılmaktadır. Black Spades çetesi üyesi olan Afrika Bambaataa, hip hop kültürünün tüm dünyada yayılmasını amaçlayan Universal Zulu Nation'ın da kurucusudur. 27 Eylül 2007'de Rock and Roll Hall of Fame'e dahil edilmek üzere aday gösterildi.
