World Series Kuzey Amerika merkezli yıllık beyzbol şampiyonluk serisidir. yılından beri Major League Baseball isimli beyzbol ligi (MLB) sonunda, (American League) (AL) ve (National League) (NL) şampiyonları arasında oynanmaktadır. World Series şampiyonluğu unvanı 7 maçlık bir play-off serisini kazanan takıma verilir ve ile ödüllendirilir. Seri Kuzey Amerika'da sonbahar mevsimine denk gelen Ekim ayında oynanır bu yüzden MLB'de Sonbahar Klasiği olarak da isimlendirilir. 2012 itibarıyla New York Yankees 40 World Series'e katılarak ve 27 şampiyonluk ile bu seriyi en çok kazanan takımdır.
