Sui iuris (), sui juris olarak da yazılır, kelimenin tam anlamıyla "kendi başına" anlamına gelen bir Latince tabirdir. Hem Katolik Kilisesi'nin kanun hukukunda, hem de laik hukuktaKilise sui iuris terimi, 'nda (Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches, CCEO) belirtmek için kullanılır. Katolik Kilisesi, Latin Kilisesi ve 23 Doğu Katolik kilisesi de dahil olmak üzere 24 kiliseden oluşur.
