Rock & roll yıldızı ve şarkıcı 'ın kızı olarak 7 Ekim 1964 tarihinde Londra'da dünyaya gelmiştir.
Sam Brown, müzik kariyerine 12 yaşında vokal yaparak başlamıştır. İlk albümü "Stop!" dünya çapında 2.500.000 adet satmıştır. Ancak "Stop!"tan sonra yayınladığı çalışmalarla aynı başarıyı yakalayamamıştır. İngiliz müzik grubu Pink Floyd'un 1994 tarihli "The Division Bell" albümünde geri vokalde yer alan Sam Brown, aynı sene bahse konu albümün tanıtım konserleri kapsamında Pink Floyd ile birlikte dünya turnesine çıkmıştır.
Müzik çalışmalarına devam eden Sam Brown'ın yeni albümü "Of The Moment" Eylül 2007 ayında yayınlanmıştır.
