Yaşamı ve kariyeri

Welsh, 30 Mart 1942'de İngiliz asıllı bir ailenin oğlu olarak Edmonton, Alberta, Kanada'da doğdu. Kanada Ulusal Tiyatro Okulu'ndan mezun oldu. 1964'te başladığı oyunculuk kariyerini 2022 yılındaki ölümüne kadar sürdürdü. En çok rol aldığı TV dizisi; Twin Peaks (İkiz Tepeler) ve sinema filmi; The Aviator (Göklerin Hakimi) ile tanındı. Yer aldığı diğer bazı yapımlar arasında; The Day Reagan Was Shot ve The Day After Tomorrow sayılabilir.

Özel yaşamı ve ölümü

Majical Cloudz müzik grubunun solistliğini yapan Devon Welsh adında müzisyen bir oğlu bulunan Welsh, 5 Mayıs 2022'de Toronto, Ontario, Kanada'daki aile evinde kalp durmasından 80 yaşında öldü.
