Jonathan Southworth “John” Ritter (17 Eylül 1948 - 11 Eylül 2003, Burbank, Kaliforniya), Altın Küre ve Emmy ödüllü Amerikalı komedyen ve oyuncu.

11 Eylül 2003'te Ritter, (Genç Kızımla Çıkmak İçin 8 Basit Kural) dizisinin setinde prova yaparken hastalandı. Bolca terliyordu, kusuyordu ve göğüs ağrısından şikayet ediyordu.
