Deva (Sanskrit: देव, ), 'parlak', 'yüce', 'göksel varlık', 'ilahi varlık', 'mükemmelliğe sahip herhangi bir şey' anlamına gelmektedir ve Hinduizm'de bir tanrıyı belirtmek için kullanılan Sanskritçe terimlerden biridir.Deva eril bir terimdir; dişil eşdeğeri Devi'dir. Kelime, Latince deus ('tanrı') ve Yunanca Zeus ile aynı kökten gelmektedir.

Şiva/Rudra, Vedik zamanlardan beri Hinduizm'de önemli bir Deva olmuştur. Yukarıda, Himalayalar'da Hinduların dua ettiği bir heykeli bulunmaktadır.
