Hayatı

Costa, 21 Mart 1926'da Brooklyn, New York Şehri'nde doğdu.

Demokear Parti bünyesinde siyasete girerek Burlington Seçilmiş Serbest Mülk Sahipleri Kurulu Üyesi (1970-1982), New Jersey Genel Meclisi'nde delege (1982-1984) ve New Jersey Senatosu Üyesi olarak (1984-1990) görev aldı.

Hizmetleriyle 1976'da New Jersey'de "Yılın Annesi" seçildi.

2011'deki ölümüne mühendis Joseph Costa ile evli olup üç çocuğu bulunan Costa, 27 Haziran 2025'te Burlington County, New Jersey'de doğal nedenlerden 99 yaşında öldü.
